April 2018: The Royal Wedding

Our Latest Weddings, Events & News.

With less than a month to The Royal Wedding we thought what better way to Include our Royal styled photoshoot, introuducing our very own Megan Markle and Prince Harry lookalike.

Royal weddings are always styled so classical and timeless, which is just the look we believe Megan and Harry will continue as a royal family tradition. With this in mind, we chose the majority of our colours white and gold to keep in line with a fairytale wedding fit for a princess.

We used white satin tablecloths which provided a touch of shimmer and also a feeling of ultimate luxury. To incorporate our chosen colour palette, we decided to display our gold beaded glass charger plates, which are a stunning decorative piece to add to a table setting. To complete the look and add a slight hint of glitz we used gold beaded napkin rings around our napkins.

Our centerpieces consisted of our very own blossom trees, which are the new romantic wedding centerpiece favourite for this year. Since blossom trees are the symbolic flower of the spring and a time of renewal I think they would be perfect for the May Royal Wedding. Our falling blossom tree is the highest quality; its cascading branches give a magical feel. We dressed the trees with hanging glass baubles and real candlelight to set the mood of romance and love for our couple.

At the base of the trees, we incorporated moss to bring the trees to life, along with gold mercury glass vases, filled with real flowers provided by our florist. Our ornate gold frames helped to display the table numbers. We also added matching gold mercury tealights to add the perfect ambience.

To add the ultimate statement piece we chose to dress the room with one of our large canopy blossom trees, which is heart-stoppingly beautiful and continues our spring feel. They are perfect touch whether hired alone or as a pair, they are a simply just a divine way to dress an aisle or entrance to the wedding breakfast.

To complete our tables, we dressed the venues chiavari chairs with our white ruffled chair covers, which created a beautiful elegance to the room. To finish, we added our diamante brooch which rhinestones sparkled and glistened in the natural daylight as the sun shone through the large bay windows.

We displayed the couples seating plan on a stunning ornate gold easel and matching mirror, which provided a very royal design carved beautifully out of wood. Since there have been reports that the wedding breakfast may be an intimate affair, I chose to seat only the couples close family and friends which Jo at Boutique 14 cleverly designed in our gold and white theme.

We styled the cake on our very own cake table which we dressed in a sequin gold tablecloth and gold mercury candle holders, to give it an extra special touch and a regal finish.
